Toni’s mom is setting the record straight and shutting down rumors that she and Shakira’s mom are suing ITV over how their daughters were portrayed on Love Island.
The rumors started after fans noticed that both moms, who had been regularly posting Love Island recaps, suddenly set their TikTok profiles to private. Viewers quickly jumped to conclusions, convinced that the silence meant legal action was in the works. Some even claimed that the two were spotted in London meeting with a lawyer.
But now Leslie, Toni’s mom, has cleared things up in a new TikTok. She said the only reason she went private was because she had to fly to the Love Island villa for Family Day.
She added that “that rumor should be put to rest immediately” and reminded viewers, “don’t believe everything you see on the internet.”
